Captains Cup second round 5-1 up in the first what could go wrong?
Quite a lot it seems. To be honest I was outwitted in the picking by Trevor.
We played well & picked up an early & surprising (to me) lead after Chris scored.
Geoff pulled something - maybe the barmaid as he ran off the pitch to the changing rooms! During which time they scored 1-1.

Woody agreed to swap side to even things up after all he was second in the league but a big thanks to him - he should have a points adjustment. (tip to the younger members never take two shirts on to the pitch)
We scored again not sure how & they equalised - Brian said it was over the line as he tried to clear it. OK we believe you!

Finally controversy reigned as Gary challenged Neil for the ball & finished superbly for the first time since Neil put him into the fence.
Foul shouted Neil. No goal shouted others. Who cares said Trevor & Phil as the overall result was unaffected.

At the end the presentation took place of the Scarlet Pimpernel Trophy to Geoff who finally won after so many years of trying - a lesson to us all.
