This was the second leg game after the first finishing 1-1. I had 1st pick or extra man, and decided on the extra man.

The game seemed to go from end to end in the early stages with chances at both ends. Both sides hitting the woodwork early on. Yellows eventually took the lead with a finely taken goal by Mac This seemed to give the Whites a more urgent approach to the game as they were threatening our goal a lot more. It was only the final shot or a fine save by Ken, which kept the score at 1-0. Eventually Whites got the goal they deserved, which was a well taken shot by Richie from a tight angle. At 1-1 Yellows were still looking dangerous in front of goal but with some fine heroic saves by Blake the game could have had a lot more goals. Thankfully Mac was able to to get a second goal after putting so much spin on his shot that the ball spun into the goal after hitting the post. Gary then made it 3-1 to ease the pressure for Yellows. Mac was still on a hat trick and must of thought he had it when ball landed at his feet a yard from goal. Unfortunately he managed to hit the top of the bar and over.

Final score 3-1 to the Yellows (4-2) over the 2 games.

There were many fine performances on the night but I have given Man of the Match to Laurie for his hard work around the pitch. Didn't stop all night.
