I won the all important coin toss and went for quantity over quality and opted for extra man. It looked to be paying off after Alan scored a classic (or was it the centre forward partnership that was classic) and the whites struggled to get through a packed defence.
A change of ends at half time brought a change of fortunes. And Mac looped a header into the top corner and Gary placed/scuffed a left footed effort into the bottom corner to put the whites in the lead. But with the last kick of the game I was able to make sure I could sleep well that night - even with a dodgy stomach from the reheated bacon butties - and levelled it up. Probably a fair result and definitely an enjoyable game
